UNIDO To Sign $60m Agreement With Nigeria On Country Programme

The Director General, United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), Li Yong, will visit Nigeria today on a two-day official assignment from November 19 -20, 2018.
This is LI Yong’s second visit to Nigeria – Africa’s largest economy – since he assumed office as UNIDO Director General in 2013.
Mr. Chibuzor Emenike, Media Assistant to the Director General of Nigerian Office for Trade Negotiation, in a statement yesterday, said one of Yong’s major engagements in Nigeria will be the historic signing of the $60m UNIDO Nigeria new Country Programme (CP) for Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development (2018 – 2022) with the Federal Government of Nigeria, on November 19, 2018
